§ 1. General
Privacy policy and the use of cookies on the website https://eccoton.com/( hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") was created and adopted by ECCOTON.COM Sp z o.o. Sp. Komandytowa 32-002 Mała Wieś 152A
The terms used in the Policy shall have the following meanings:
Service: Internet service https://eccoton.com;
User: an entity using a publicly available Service;
Owner: ECCOTON.COM Sp z o.o. Sp. Komandytowa 32-002 Mała Wieś 152A NIP 9442258208, REGON: 369261950, KRS: 0000712594, BDO 000502142
Cookies: text files sent by the Website and stored on the User's end device used by the User while browsing websites. The files contain information necessary for the proper functioning of the Website. Cookies most often contain the domain name of the website from which they originate, the time of their storage on the end device and the number;
The purpose of the Policy is in particular:
providing users with information on the use of Cookies on the Website, in accordance with the requirements of the law, including the telecommunications law;
provide users with privacy protection to the extent that they meet the standards and requirements set out in applicable law.
The Owner limits the collection and use of information about Users to the minimum necessary to provide services to them.
In order to obtain full access through the Website to the content and services offered by the Owner, it is advisable to accept the rules resulting from the Policy.
The following laws apply, m.in others:
the Telecommunications Law Act of 16 July 2004 (Journal of Laws 2017.1907, consolidated text, as amended);
the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services (Journal of Laws 2017.1219, consolidated text, as amended);
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ L 2016/679, p. L 119 of 4.5.2016) together with the Polish regulations on the protection of personal data.
§ 2. Privacy and personal data protection
The data concerning the Users are processed by the Owner in accordance with the law. The Users' personal data obtained by the Owner are processed on the basis of the consent granted by the User or the occurrence of another premise authorizing the processing of data in accordance with the regulations, in particular the Regulation.
The Owner takes special care to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular ensures that these data are:
processed in accordance with the law, fairly and in a transparent manner for Clients and other data subjects;
collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes;
adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
correct and updated where necessary;
stored in a form that permits identification of the data subject for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data are processed;
processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction or damage, by means of appropriate technical or organizational measures,
The Owner applies appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the processed personal data appropriate to the nature, scope, context and purposes of the processing and the risk of violation of the rights and freedoms of natural persons.
The Owner strives to systematically modernize the IT, technical and organizational means of protecting this data, in particular the Owner ensures updates of IT protection measures allowing for protection against viruses, unauthorized access and other threats resulting from the operation of the IT system and telecommunications networks.
Each User who has made their data available to the Owner in any way is provided by the Owner with access to data and the exercise of other rights of data subjects, in accordance with the applicable law, including those persons entitled to:
the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data;
the right to information regarding their personal data;
the right to control the processing of data, including their completion, updating, rectification, deletion;
the right to object to processing or to restrict processing;
the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority and to use other legal remedies to protect one's rights.
The Owner may process personal data in an automated manner, including through profiling, on the terms resulting from the Regulation. In this case, the purpose of the Owner's activities is marketing purposes or the need to personalize the messages sent to Users (including matching information to the needs or expectations of the User). The User has the right to object to such processing of their data – this objection may be expressed by sending a message to the Owner's address: support@eccoton.com.
A person having access to personal data processes it only on the basis of the Owner's authorization or a personal data processing agreement and only on the Owner's instructions.
§ 3. Media
Suggested text: If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images with EXIF location tags. Visitors to the site can download and read the full location data from the images on the site.
§ 4. Cookies
Cookies identify the User, which allows us to adjust the content of the website they use to their needs. By remembering their preferences, it allows you to properly adjust the content addressed to them, including advertisements. The Owner uses Cookies to guarantee an appropriate standard of convenience of the Website, and the collected data is used only within the company to optimize operations.
Cookies are used to:
adapt the content of the Website to the User's preferences;
optimize the use of the Website, in particular by recognizing the User's end device,
creating statistics,
maintain the User's session,
provide advertising content to the User.
Cookies may be placed on the Website User's end device.
The collected data is used to monitor and check how Users use the Website in order to improve the functioning of the Website by providing more effective and trouble-free navigation.
It should be remembered that in some cases, beyond the control of the Owner, the software installed by the User on the end device, used to browse websites (e.g. a web browser) introduces the default storage of Cookies on the User's end device. Users can change their Cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed, among other things, in such a way as to block the automatic setting of Cookies or to inform each time they are placed on the User's end device. Detailed information in this regard is available in the settings and instructions for the software (web browser).
The User can disable or restore the option of collecting Cookies at any time by changing the settings in the web browser.
Changing the settings is an expression of objection, which in the future may cause difficulties in using the Website. Completely disabling the option of accepting Cookies will not mean that you will not be able to view the content posted on the Website, except for those that require logging in.
Failure to change the settings means that the data will be stored on the User's end device (using the Website will automatically place Cookies on the User's end device).
The stored data placed on the User's end device do not cause configuration changes in the User's end device or the software installed on this device.
Information on Cookies also applies to other similar technologies used on the Website.
§ 5. Final provisions
The Policy was adopted by the Owner's order and comes into force on 25.05.2019. The content of the Policy may be amended in the same manner.
Any deviation from the Policy must be made in writing under pain of nullity.
The law applicable to the Policy is the law of the Republic of Poland.
In matters not regulated in the Policy, the relevant provisions of law shall apply.
